Check In

I’m finding my writing to come a bit easier as the semester progresses. I think the blogs are helping me a lot to just let it flow. I need to be less shy about my work and be willing to share it with others. Lately I’ve been using my blog as a recap of my day. As a writer, I’m in limbo between the world of journalism and English. My journalism stories have been influenced by my English assignments and as usual, my English assignments are influenced by the journalistic style. I'm finding a good median between the two. Good writing is good writing no matter what it's for. My next essay will be more researched based. My first essay was very introverted but this next essay will use sources and perspectives outside of my own.
